Pick up / Return
Pick up of your motor home is available from 9.00am –
6.00pm Monday to Friday 9.00am – 4.00pm Saturday Closed
on Sundays
Return of your motor home must be no later than 6.00pm of
the last day of hire
As we are closed on Sunday so it is acceptable to return the
vehicle by 10.00am Monday
Reserving your Hire Vehicle
You will be able to do this on line using your credit card
via our 128 bit secure connection only 20% deposit will be
taken from your card this will secure you booking.
6 Weeks before you take hire of the vehicle the full outstanding
balance must be paid via credit card payment.
Deposit
A £500 cash deposit shall be paid on the day hire commences
this is fully refunded if the motor home is returned on time
and in a clean and undamaged state.
You will be liable for any damage or missing items from the
hire vehicle.
If you return the hire vehicle back late you will be liable
to a £25 per hour charge.
Breakdown / Accidents
All our motor homes are less than 12 months old so they are
covered by manufactures warranty so breakdown is very unlikely
however if a breakdown does happen we will do our best to
rectify or replace the hire vehicle as quickly as possible.
Therefore Motor home hire Ltd dissolves all costs incurred
by the hirer due to the consequential expenses subsequent
to a breakdown. A refund will be given on a daily rate basis
in the unlikely event of a breakdown.
If you are unfortunate enough to be involved in an accident
Motor Homes Hire Ltd must be informed as soon as possible
and no repairs must be undertaken without the permission of
Motor Homes Hire Ltd
The hirer is also responsible for damage to tyres including
punctures, windscreens and any damage to the roof (Maximum
height is clearly displayed inside the vehicle).
Motor home Hire Ltd can not be held responsible for any loss
or consequential expense due to an accident or breakdown.
Insurance / Restrictions
In order to hire one of our motor homes you must be between
the ages of 25-70 years old and you must hold a valid driving
licence (overseas licence holders will be liable to an extra
charge).
When you pick up your Motor Home we will require a photo proof
id and a utility bill that is no more than 2 months old.
If you have been involved in an accident of traffic offence
within the last 5 years we will need to inform our insurers
so they can make the appropriate changes. (A slight increase
of charges may be incurred).
The insurance cover that is provided is Fully Comprehensive
with an excess charge of £500 per vehicle, our insurance
company will require credit card details for security and
your card will only be charged in the event of an accident.
Fines / Congestion Charge
During the hire period you will be responsible for any fines,
parking tickets, congestion charge etc… Motor Home Hire
will not be responsible for any fines incurred whilst you
have the vehicle on hire.
Each vehicle is fitted with a tracking device which is accessible
via computer / satellite to pinpoint the movement, speed of
the vehicle.
Mileage
Unlimited mileage
Tanks
The hirer is responsible for emptying the waste tanks and
toilet before returning the vehicle if this is not done the
hirer will incur a £50 charge.
Smoking
We do not allow smoking in the Motor Homes.
Fuel / Oil / Gas
A full tank of fuel is provide at the start of the hire period
so please ensure you return the hire vehicle with a full tank
of fuel at the end of your hire period.
You will be charged £1.25 per litre if the hire vehicle
is returned less than the full mark.
It is the Hirers responsibility to check the fuel, water and
oil levels on the vehicle every day! We will show you how
to do it if you are unsure it takes only 5 minutes.
Motor Home Hire will supply your gas but if you do happen
to run out please keep your receipt and we will refund your
money.
Personal Travel Insurance
We do not offer personal travel insurance for loss of belongings
or items this insurance is the responsibility of the hirer.
Car Parking
We can offer secure car parking during the hire period.
Cancellations
1) Over 1 month 10 %
2) 7 - 28 days 20 %
3) 1 - 7 days 50 %
4) On day of pick up 100 %
